Are jeep soft tops waterproof?
There is nothing inherently unsafe about a Jeep soft top. The vehicle's roll cage, plus airbags, will protect you if something should happen on- or off-road. Additionally, soft tops are waterproofed so you are secure against rain and snow.

First off, if you are wondering, it is perfectly fine to use a soft top in the winter. While some owners have dual tops and choose to throw on a hardtop this time of year, a soft top certainly does keep a Jeep warm enough as Jeep heaters are pretty powerful and will quickly get the interior quite toasty.

Moisture from humidity, rain, sleet, or snow can cause mold and mildew and also crack or peel the soft convertible top.
Soft tops aren't very insulating, so the cold air can permeate throughout the interior cabin even with the heat on. Snow can also weigh down the top and even break it if enough gathers on top. The short and long of it is that yes, your Jeep can get wet on the inside, but definitely not for too long. The insides of Jeeps are designed to be water-resistant, but not waterproof. So if you submerge your jeep or leave it out in the rain or snow with the windows and top-down, your seats and floors will get soaked.
Allow the top to dry for approximately three hours, this will depend on the drying conditions. The Reviver may dry out more quickly if it is a warm day and may take longer to dry if it is a damp day!
Can you keep a soft top convertible outside?
Although a garage is ideal, convertibles can also be stored outside. In this case, you need to really consider a water-resistant yet breathable cover, one that is thicker for cars parked outside and a proper, snug fit.
