As a general rule, 19mm thick sheets of plywood are the sweet spot for desk building. At this thickness you have the required strength to keep your desk strong in most circumstances and not have to worry about warping.
'Standard' solid wood table tops are often 25, 32 or 45mm in thickness, with the exception pf Character Oak tops, which are not supplied in 25mm due to the less-stable nature of the timber.

To manipulate the height or width of an entire table, place the size attribute (either "WIDTH=" or "HEIGHT=") within the <TABLE> code. To manipulate individual cells, place the size attribute within the code for that cell.
An HTML table consists of one <table> element and one or more <tr>, <th>, and <td> elements. The <tr> element defines a table row, the <th> element defines a table header, and the <td> element defines a table cell.

Data tables should always include table headers (the <th> element). For short tables and for tables whose data are self explanatory, column headers are sufficient. For long tables or tables where data may be confusing, it is best to include row and column headers .
Testing for Accessibility
The most important aspect of table accessibility is to define the column headers. We should also add row headers when they are present. In addition, we should add a summary of the table's content and purpose for the non-sighted user that will be read aloud to their screen reader.

45 x 24: Perfect for small spaces, where your office doubles as your bedroom or in apartments. 48 x 30: A standard commercial office size small. The 30" depth offers enough room for monitors to be used behind your laptop. 50 x 26: Great size for when you need a little bit more width, without taking on more depth.
Traditional tables prefer thinner tops — generally an inch or less.
For an office or workspace with open shelves or uppers, 22 to 24 inches is standard for shelf placement above the top of the desk. This is high enough to clear most computer screens and even accommodate undercounter lights.
